Lorazepam (Ativan) is used in the management of anxiety disorders and for relief of short-term symptoms of anxiety.<\/p>\n
It is also used for preanesthetic medication to sedate and reduce anxiety in the event of a surgery.<\/p>\n
Ativan is also known to be used for the management of status epilepticus.<\/p>\n
It may also be used for other conditions as determined by the physician.<\/p>\n
How to take:<\/b><\/p>\n
Take Ativan as directed by the physician.<\/p>\n
Check the label of the medicine for the exact dose.<\/p>\n
The dose and frequency of use will depend on your condition and response.<\/p>\n
It can be taken by mouth with or without food. If a dose is missed, take one as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
